it comes as a self-installer too ;)
there are many aircraft (Free) that match the quality of this, quality is what keeps me interested a lot of the time...

That is a splendid little aeroplane!
Many thanks Hinch

I see 4 all by James (Jimmy)... Although they are numbered 1, 2 & 4... are you using bitwise numbering Jimmy? <_<

no idea what happened to number 3... but they are there!

Well I uploaded them in order, yet they have come out backwards, I am unsure how to change the layout of them, rpaobyl somehtign alex will have to do. and number 3 is still on my harddrive, thats actuly the "how to install sounds" one.

I jsut put them up there for a simple guide for begginers to install stuff, I actuyl quite enjoyed wrighting them.. I haven't really done anymore as there hasn't been much interest in the nzfs. Perhaps I will make some time over the next few weeks to put some more up..

Sorry about the numbering ;)

how did you ever get your aviation medical! ;)

mind you, thats like the pot calling the kettle black... I suffer from 'domestic blindness' as my wife puts it... the inability to see what I'm looking for when its right in front of me

what do you fancy? there's a few aircraft i think are really something.

Rick Piper's new chipmunk is a top pick - the old one was good, but this one has a full 3D VC...

http://www.forum-design.co.uk/air/gallery/GBCPU/

it is availible somewhere i think.

Also agree with the above choices.

But you might also want to consider the following:

Some other nice GA freeware aircraft I would also recommend would be any Milton Shupe aircraft - Aero Commander, Shrike Commander, Beech 18, Howard 500, Spartan Executive (although I haven't tried this). Do a search of his name in Avsim.

Would also highly recommend the Christen Eagle (search Christen in Avsim) by the Long Island Clasics Team and the Maule available at www.fsnordic.net. Do a search for Maule in their libarary.

For something bigger I would download Rick Piper's HS-748 (search Rick Piper in Avsim).

This will keep you busy! :D

Hinch certainly has a good taste for aircraft models- he was the one know directed me to Milton Shurpe's Spartan, Rick Pipers Chippy, the Christen Eagle II and of course, my favourite Airhead Deke, which I now have painted in the colours of ZK-CIT, A variant that I am learning to fly in real life ;)

One other aircraft that I forgot and definitely worth considering is the veneaviones_rockwell_turbo_commander_690b.zip available at Avsim.

Don't know if there is a later release than July 2004, it was a great plane.

a new one came out this year. it's beta so i can't link - but it is around!

OK top freeware:
http://www.forum-design.co.uk/air/new/

that's just an idea of what my new site will look like, but there's me general aviation top 5 at the moment. military, vintage, airliner and 'other' still to come.

anything from Roland Laborie's Mirage 2000 to Milton Shupe's spartan to the Junkers-52 project. It's all top top payware quality stuff to be on that list.

a widgeon is a duck...but also a floatplane. It's on avsim somewhere. it's actually not a favourite of mine, but it is good quality:
http://library.avsim.net/search.php?Sea ... &Go=Search

The list on my site is by no means final, just a test at the moment! the site structure is a little difficult also so that's going to change a bit too i imagine.
