Well, there is still the 747-800 possibly on the way, and they're stillproducing the 747-400F

hmm never really liked the 744...

The 748 is gana be awsome thow, that and 787 mmmmmmm go boeing :plane:

No customer has ordered the jet since China Airlines in November 2002.
Interesting, I assumed that the 747 was as popular as ever.
I'm pretty sure the 747-8 Intercontinential will see service, for those airlines who want something between a 777-300 and a A380. It'll depend on how efficient the 747-8 will be I suppose.

Indeed. Being that it is utilising much of the technology from the 787 (Interior, engines, systems) and a new more efficient wing but still retaining commonality with the 400. I wouldnt be surprised to see Air NZ look at a few if they dont go for the 777-300.
