Woodburn

The place to ask for help or solve each others technical issues and discuss hardware

Just tried a flight to Woodburn and the runway disappeared in front of me. Is there a fix for this?.

Probably need a little more info ;)

To start with these would be handy...

Mesh (eg 150m, 75m, 20m)
Flight Sim version (eg FS2002, FS9, FSX)
Addon airport or default?

:)

Sorry it was a bit brief. Have 20M Mesh and running FS9. The runway is there when approaching and starts to disappear into grass as about to touch-down. Just the default airport. I didn't know there was an addon?.

I've got this issue as well, I saw something about it, some file from RealNZ Wellington I think caused it, but I'm not sure which one.

pato, this is proably to do with your scenerys layer order, start flight sim and go settings>scenery libuary and move the mesh to the top. err I think its the top, otherwise move it below any other scenerys, have a play around in there and should come right ;)

Could be as I have RealNZ Wellington loaded.

I have my Mesh at the correct place. I am not too worried about it but it is a nice little flight from Wellington and it is a pity about the runway. I nearly stalled due to the shock of the disappearing runway LOL.

Andrew.
Ive just e-mailed you a complete NZWB scenery that works perfectly in 20m mesh in FS2004, with no ill-effects from RealNZ Wellington.

Thanks for comments although it doesn't make me feel any better LOL. Perhaps someone will come up with a fix sometime. Flying over the Sounds is quite pleasant.

Lawrie, Very many thanks for all your help and patience it was much appreciated. Without people like you and forums like this it would be a real struggle for a newbie to FS9. Cheers,
Pat.
