Hi all
I found this clip on the VATSIM forums, it's pretty funny without having any humour.

You gotta feel sorry for him, but ohh well its all part of the job.... If i was him, I would be taking up that offer of duty free..... It is always funny when you hear controllers get messed up, in Queenstown had one controller try 5 times to get out call sign right, she ended up giving up....

I was in "chloe the time machine" (as she is more commonly refered to by the people who were on that trip.....) gosh that plane has been thru the wars. Speaking of which, she is due to have another crash (so dont fly in her). The poor controller was calling her Esko Occer.... Ecko Soccer.... its such a messed up callsign....

Ive been on a few cross-countries with a mate who flys at Ardmore on the beast, and there is always one controller who cant get it right... :P

Where was that? I was stuck in fiordland for a few hours trapsing around in EOX, low cloud, reducing vis, and no way to get over the saddles we needed to, so reversal turn then back to try another one, I think it took us 3.5 to get from QN to Te Anau....

Might I also add that ZK-EOX was (so I have been told) Air Nelson's first aircraft, a quick check of the CAA aircraft register, shows it was once reg'd to Air Nelson.....

Yep and after Air Nelson, If I remember correctly it had a stint with the very humble beginnings of Eagle Air in Hamilton aswell...

Surely the best plane in AFS' fleet no? One advantage is it doesn't actually have Ardmore Flying School written on it anyway so you can always pretend that it's your own plane when you turn up at some out of the way airfield. :P
