Just a FYI. If you get anything electrical wet, take the battery off it straight away and let it dry somewhere like an airing cupboard, for a few days at least. Even an oven at 50 degrees overnight.
If it's salt water it fell in, pull it apart and rinse under clean water first. It should be ok once dry, it's only when you send power through the circuitry when it's wet that things go bad. I've seen computer motherboards in a kitchen sink with washing up liquid being cleaned of smoke residue and dust come up sparkly clean and work fine when dry.
Anything like this however, you do at your own risk.
