Found a few from my archives..all personal faves of the mighty 737 for my seven hundred and thirty seventh post.

Love the early morning light in this one, I was waiting for a Saab to take me to Hamilton, about two years ago and snapped this through the terminal window..

One of the places I didn't put in the spotters map was here, right up against the fence near gate 10 at Wellington

This was shot in Auckland from the then new lounge extension, I love that the 733 is climbing out in the background. Its weird, the windows at Auckland allow you to remove the window filter coloring much more easily than Wgtn

And this last one is a real blast from the past. Taken in the early 70's from the observation deck in Auckland, so what you see here is an original NAC 737-200. No woosey hushkits back then, no jetways to keep you dry, nothing. If I turned right you would see a DC8 parked up at what was then the international portion of the original terminal, the bit Qantas currently occupies. Didn't have the foresight to snap a pic of that, was probably dragged away by mother and lectured on "not wasting film in that camera, have you got any idea how much it costs me to develop those photos"...yes mother... <_<

That headon first shot...time for some new desktop wallpaper maybe? :D

Bit of trivia, since we are Boeing Boeing all over the forums:
the fuselage cross section of B707,720,727 and 737 are the same.
Boeing could churn out a 707 Mk II tomorrow in theory.
But they wouldn't need to, becuase the 737-900 with 2 engines carries more pax than the original 707 with 4! B) This is progress.
