How did you get such photos Brennanx? Like did you just spot some random traffic out the window?

i was in the cockpit when i took these photos flying to aussie with my dad in the a320 so get a good view of everything I get to sit in the little seat behind the pilots which is cool for the landings and take off. And you get to be closer to big mothers landing.

Atlas air landing on runway 23R the taxi way and we are on the little road thing next to it

you could smell the rubber when we were lined up. That 747 wasnt that far away from us if you look on a map of auckland airport from helicopter or something.

Awesome pictures dude, you really are a great asset to NZFF!

You are soooo fortunate to get jumpseat rides in the a320's, I wish my Dad was a pilot too lol :P

How comman is it to see anothor aircraft near you in the sky?

When going to sydney I saw anothor A320 way way below while we were descending.. thats all, even in such a busy airspace like sydney.

I've seen quite a few other aircrafit flying around when I have flown in Europe in the past, they sure look real fast when you are going the oppisite direction to them!

Also, there is a whole Air to Air section at Airliners.net if you didn't know already: http://www.airliners.net/search/photo.s ... AIR_TO_AIR
