Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

I don't subscribe but I have picked up the last couple issues from the bookshop.

After allowing for the exchange rate it makes for a pretty expensive magazine. Just as well it's bi-monthly. The CDROM that comes with it certainly justifies the cost though.

Me to, tend to pick and choose the issues I buy depending on the cover disc mostly.

Don't subscribe, but I do pick up pretty well every issue, mostly from WH Smith (think Whitcoulls for an NZ equivalent. In fact, I think they even carry some WHS branded stuff). I much prefer it's English attitude compared to the very American Computer Pilot.

(and of course, here it only costs a fiver! )

Not anymore, that got changed to a Whitcolles years ago!

The airport shop I think you are referring to does have a lot of aviation mags not found in other shops though, such as Airliner World :P I havn't seen PC Pilot for sale in any NZ shops though :(

There are about 4 shops in Welly that stock it, mostly dedicated magazine shops so look to those rather than Whitcoulls. Its clearly a regular stock item so ask your local magazine shop to inquire about it from their magazine supplier.

The cover disc always has freeware files, usually very good ones, payware demo's, videos, charts etc.

For example, issue 43 of the magazine had:

Great article on flightsim.com founder Nels Anderson
Reviews of Wilcos Legacy, Cargo Pilot, Lancaster, F-117, Piper Cheyenne, Bremen scenery and aviator joystick and buttkicker gamer hardware add-on

Part 1 of beginners guide to FS - looks at hardware
Pilots guide to Jet Airliners

Article on real world GA aircraft in FS

FS training - detailed flight prep and high level flying

Software on CD

VFG Generation X demo
Cargo Pilot demo
Piper Cheyenne, Lancaster, Jet Tutorial and F117 movie
Wilco's Legacy patch

Freeware files

Socata TMB700 A
S.A Bulldog T.MK1
Argosy
Citation X
Mitsubishi G4M1 'Betty'
W.A.Mozart Airport scenery
TerraVue gauge
Wellington Bomber
Dash 8 - 300
