Complete Newbie Question

Hi guys, i've just joined this forum today but ive been playing fs9 for about 8 months. i had a problem about a month ago, where something has deleted all the airlines that atc use, but i think only for player aircraft. what i mean is, if i do a flight somewhere, i can have a flight number but in the drop down for airline, theres nothing there. any ideas would be awesome

Hello, welcome to the fourms

for your question, look in your flightsimulator 9 folder's aircraft folder, usualy located here: C:\Program Files\microsoft\fs9\Aircraft.

Have a look in that folder and see if you can see a CFG file called "airlines" open it up in a program like "notepad" and see if it has all the airlines listed, its easy to add new airlinews just by adding a new line

does anyone know of a list of compatible ATC airlines for FSX? The only one I could find was for FS9 and below.
edit- actually, this list contains most of the airlines i need. cancel request B)

actually i downloaded an easyjet skin, but its not pronounced on the ATC- yet it's listed under the callsigns. so maybe i do need the list after all
