Please bear with me if I have not posted this in the correct place.
How can I identify AF2_YDPO. I suspect it is a scenery file?. Thanks.

Pat.

AF2-YDPO is an AFCAD file for Devonport Airport, Tasmania, Australia.
The "AF2" part tells you it is and Airport AFCAD, and the "YDPO" is the airport code, in this case Devonport as stated above.
The AFCAD files are normally placed in C/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Flight Simulator 9/Addon Scenery/Scenery folder.

Thanks Lawrie.
I have it two places and both files are different sizes and it had me confused. I am still confused but at least I can now work out what to do with them. Cheers.

If you have 2 different sizes of AFCAD, one may possibly be an AFCAD for default scenery, and the other may be an AFCAD for a completely separate add-on scenery for that airport that replaces the default. You mentioned you had 2 different files in differernt locations,........... if one of those AFCADS is in the "Scenery" folder of a scenery you have added to the sim, (ie: one that you have downloaded and installed), then the AFCAD in that particular folder is probably the one you should use, as it was designed for that scenery.
Remove the other and store it away somewhere else.

Lawrie.

OK will do as you advise. When I started with FS I didn't think there would be so much of interest other than just flying but I am learning fast with all your help. I can see why it has such a world-wide following. Cheers.
