Would these be worth buying and putting on my new video card? i see that they help reduce heat emitted from the card because they blow the air straight out. Sounds very useful for my very warm case...

Any oppinions?

any cooling is good cooling ,i run my computer hot inclueding the card ,i dont have any extra cooling at all and everything is running just fine cards get hot with fs9/fsx so cooling is up to you to prolong the life of your card i chose not to waste extra money on it because i overclock and upgrade my cards within a year anyway,the fan looks good but its real simple ,,me i open the side up turn the fan on and bam its normal again ,
at the end of the day you could do all this and get the same life as any other card in any other system without all the fans and cooling ,i think a good tower is the bottom story good vents and all is sweet

i should cut my own "air vents" in the side of my computer. All I need is an axe :lol:

yup it does look nifty but at the end of the day gfx cards come with a fan for a reason its not there to look pretty

if they needed to have extra cooling i think the manafactor would put one on there ,i know plenty ppls that put lights water cooling etc.. on there puters and for what? they dont play high end games/sims etc.. the lights look nice but,
is your computer getting that hot? if it is what wrong with it ?
if not what is the reason behind your worry of cooling ?
if you like things to look pretty then go for it ...
if you like a good machine buy more for it like a higher end gfx card ,if you say buy three fans there 90$ extra on a card....
there are many places that you will find that will tell you need this and this but really if your puter is screeming along fine then it works just that ...

aren't you going to get a 7600GS? i'm not sure that even comes with a fan, i think it just has a heatsink. i agree with natas, just stick a few fans in

those sort of 3rd party heatsinks are really for people overclocking the top of the line cards or who want quieter operation.

The 7600GS does come with a fan, as I made sure Im not getting a silent one
