Hi Robin

Me again

I have been able to cut my aerial geotiffs up on export from global mapper for bgl size reasons but when I view them in FSX I have a small but very defined black grid where the seams are and I get different ones as I move away from the scene (Some sort of LOD anomaly?. In the sample shot the spot is taken from 4 tiled geotiffs that line up perfectly in Globbal mapper with no seams at all

Any thoughts?

Thanks
Greg
I'll also ask on avsim

I haven't yet tried two adjacent GeoTIFFs, but I'll give it a go this weekend. I understand that there is a bug with overlapping photoreal areas, but I don't know if this is related.

Hi

Sorry about my late response

I did get some info on avsim informing me that it is a known issue and is planned on being fixed in a patch

So heres hoping

In the mean time I just stick to making some rather large bgls for my testing

Thanks Robin

I have been meaning to put a couple of GeoTIFFs together and see how they behave with the beta patch. I'll try to get this done soon.
