Anyone going to BBT 06 at the Auckland Showgrounds this weekend?

I have heard that they have the worlds three most powerfull simulators on display this year?

Last year I remember seeing plenty of fs2004 on certain screens, in the Westpac Rescue stand, and the VR Concepts stand too.

i don't think i'll bother. it seems to be the same crud every year. in fact, the only things that interest me are the simulators

I went to BBT back in 2004. It was alright, but I'm not really the guy to go OOO and AHH over things. I get the same thrill from looking at pictures of nice cars, :)

Auckland is too far away anyway, and since im the only person in the family who even close to wants to go, I dont think I'll be there.

Ive never seen the simulators. Perhaps because when I went last time, I wasnt into flight sim?

Day 2 was just as good, bit overcrowded but fun nevertheless...

NZ Army put on a rather nice performance, seeing LAV's on 4 wheels was rather impressive!

As with squirrel350, I have far too many innapropiate pics... Man those Xbox 360 girls were fantastic!!! Geeez!

All in all good show, Westpac Rescue Chopper stand rather dissapointing tho, meh.

Good times, and great scenery... ;) :D :P

hahaha they sure were KAG had a special photo taken with them and a kiss on the cheek to seal the deal.

I too was highly disappointed with ARHT's sim although the BK-117 they were using was a fairly stable model from what I saw I couldnt be bothered jumping in.

You lucky lucky man!!! Any chance of a pic thru PM?? I got a few covert ones ;)

As with Westpac, it wasnt so much there sim (which Ive done before and when its fully set up its quite cool. They have more screens that they attach on for a complete cockpit), it was just their set up, I wanted to talk to someone about their new chopper but there was no one suitable.

The Chopper flies well, Ive got it on my sim. They have repainted it a bit tho. Its on www.hovercontrol.com if you want it, along with the Police Eagle...
