A HUGE bug in FSX

A forum specifically to discuss the latest and greatest of all flight simulators

Oh my god, my life is over , whoa is me!!! Look at this terrible nasty bug at NZAA, what were aces thinking?? Did the beta testers even look at the game?? I must simply write a letter to ACES, MICRSOFT and any other bugger who will listen and complain bitterly about this terrible terrible mess. Who cares about poor performance when things like this can be allowed to get through!!

Well, I had to find something to complain about, this is FSX after all...

Hi Jon,

I posted your screenie on another forum where some FSX Beta testers reside.

One of them responded and wonders if perhaps you had installed an Fs2004 afcad, which can cause some strange behaviour. He reckons that the offending item is a sign which should be on top of a building.

Just for your info.

Cheers

Thanks for the reply. My post was very much tounge in cheek and not to be taken seriously. I was mindful of all the flaming happening on many of the forums about FSX performance, so in my best 'poke fun at it all' approach I came across that by accident and decided to have some fun.

What you see is from a clean install of FSX directly from the box purchased about an hour earlier, so its a genuine error, not that I care one little bit. I would never have found it if I hadnt been playing with views at that exact distance, so the chances of ever seeing it must be very very low.
