Citation Speedboat Conversion

Forgive me if this is old news , but I don't know if any of you have seen this unbelievable footage.
Citation off the end of the runway and into a lake at Atlantic city after landing downwind, pilot blames brake failure!.
Everyone gets out, just in time for one of the engines to spool up again and it goes off on a trip round the lake!
Am I the only one who has never seen this??

I saw it yesterday after reading about it on Airliners.net...

It is pretty freaky although the pilot shold have his license revoked! Moron landing with the wind and 2/3 down the runway..

Yeah I saw it after being linked to it from Airliners.net a little while ago; it's pretty scary but it could have been a lot worse, they were lucky they had a comparatively "soft" runoff area, instead of a cliff or buildings or something.

Twas a perfect landing , and look how well its able to taxi using engine , OY rego - old eastern bloc - think pilot was Russian .... same guy who flew the BerievAN40Albatross into Auckland Harbour during airshow was he not ..

I've read about this little incident The pilot/owner was a Danish (OY-JET is a Danish reg) millionaire in the States on a gambling jaunt. Apparently he has replaced this plane with the rego OY-WET!

Just found this on the net:

"Staff at Weibel Scientific, the Danish radar manufacturing company, have proved they have a sense of humour as well as scientific brains.

After making a low pass at Bader Field, Atlantic City, runway 29, the pilot of the company Citation CJ2 (registration OY-JET) returned for touch down, but landed by mistake on runway 11.

The aircraft overshot the runway and ended up badly damaged in the Intercoastal Waterway. The plane's four occupants were unhurt but had to be rescued by boat.

When the aircraft was re-registered, it can only be presumed the person doing so had a sense of humour, logging the new registration number as OY-WET."

It must be a new plane as I would think the orginal would be stuffed
