well i meet up with hardcorepawn last night for a m/p action well it was mostly just mucking around at the begining as my kids were asking for dinner and other things so was back and forward from the copit of my md500 well i went to the hanger later on after flying around a bit with a guy from welly(pieman) and hcp turned up again and we made some sort of flight plan nzox 2 nzgb then on to waihike island no gps just fly there ,i said this is going to take awhile as we had jump into the tomahawks ,, we head out from nzgb to nzrv and from the start i headed us the wrong way looking out to sea i thought i could see nzrv in the distance so we just went that way,, well coming close to land after 20min + i thought id check my gps  yeah we werent even close ,how about whangaparoa near north shore auckland ,,man i broke the news to hcp that id nearly lead us all the way home and just cracked up  ( i should of check the gps ) well we here now we shall we go ,,so stopping in at n/s aero on to nzaa and out to admore and called it quits there nice flight hcp even though our flight plan was doom from the begining
AWESOME to all that were on last night

Yeah... next time I'm gonna bust out my VNC charts... last time I follow you!!!

Still, was good fun, and I have to say, and I am actually quite impressed with the little tomahawk... they do glide approaches REALLY well and perform a lot better than I had thought...

although I think the NZFFAC should upgrade the club planes to learjets... more comfy and it doesnt take 20 mins to figure out that you're miles off course  but thats what you get for letting someone from Hamilton navigate :P

I'm just glad that my multiplayer setup is not causing any connection problems... I guess its the fancy pants UPnP function on my ADSL router that makes it work so easily...

Cant wait till the next flyin... hopefully i will have my yoke/pedals by then!! :ph43r:

well landed at hamilton and waited not long for crazy craig to land from nzwk and then gokando shortly after from ardmore(nice one )well nzro was next we all headed out on the way ofcourse i lost my way and was heading some where else but with alittle help from some friends i managed to get on track again and landed shortly after the others ,,gokando put his bird to bed and crazy and i left in our md500e with tauranga in our sights after having such a long trip around the north island the plan changed autopilot and 2x learjets to auckland then calling it a night well morning as when i actully looked at the time 3am (5hours in Helo ) :D

I quite feel like getting a group of Tomahawks together and flying up to 90mile beach (or another beach long enough) to make a landing on the sand.

The Auckland Aero Club do this in real life by the way. Yea so if you would like to join me today, post away. Ill bet at NZOX at about 12 midday!
