I'd be less surprised if you said you didn't have a belly button. It's definitely time to at least watch LOTR for the dogfighting scenes...

I hear that they have created 10 full sized Lancaster bomber replica's down in Weta Studios!

They must have a pretty darn big building to hold all that- anyone know where it is? Will it be included in the upcoming REAL NZ Wellington? (More to the point, will there be any 3D buildings like the Auckland CBD ones that came with REAL NZ Auckland??)

Change the Dogs name to "Trigger" and most people wouldn't notice

Actually, they don't have to call the dog.
This is a movie about WWII Lancaster bombers, not dogs.
"Here Boy!" will do.

Anybody who gets a sneak pass to that movie set and does not let me in on the deal, I will hound you for the rest of time... B)

All P.C. aside, I am just wondering if Pete Jacko has his own private aircraft?

He must be rolling in it, so I bet he can afford his own air transport- anyone know any details?

Well he can choose between his Sopwith Camel and Fokker Triplane for starters.

He's also got a Gulfstream jet, can't remember if it's a G3 or G4 though. Think it's still American registered.

And don't forget his Pfalz D.IIIa.

MmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmPfalz!

I'm glad PJ's doing it. What I can't quite understand is filming a Lancastercentric film in a country boasting only one, static Lanc. Why not in the UK, use the BBMF? Or the Mynarski one in Canada? But I guess with the technology Richard Taylor et al have up their Wellingtonian sleeves, why not? Just go to MoTaT and take lots and lots of pics.

I really hope they do an online production diary like with the monkey film.

I just hope to see the original before this one's out! Can't wait.

BTW Ian Warren, great screenies, I would like the model myself. Just wondering if the Aeroplane Heaven aircraft came with the actual "mission" in the flights menu where you fly with an AI squadron over to the Rhine at nightime...?

Nah , No joy on actual mission , comes with WW2 Scampton Scenery and a free Mossie, the early glazed nose version , still good package
