Out my window

A forum for everything else that does not fit into the other categories

I had a long chat tonight with Bardos via Teamspeak, we talked about some of the differences between living in NZ and Holland. I thought I'd post this picture I took out my window on Tuesday, so that he can have a better idea of my hometown here in Lyttelton.

I( don't normally aim the camera out the window, my flatmate wanted a pic of the snow to send to her previous Japanese boarders.)

So how's the view out your window? Let's see a photo...

(oops, my site is up and down like a friggin yoyo tonight, hopefully the image will show up at some stage...)

Best framed, erm, tank farm in the whole of New Zealand! :o
Much chatter in Auckland about how to rid the waterfront of our tins.

Good idea, be interesting to see the view from your window, wherever you might be...
Photobucket seems to be on holiday, but when it's back I'll post a view from the North.

its not worth taking a photo from out my window, all you'd see is grass and a lemon tree.

Enough of the lemon tree, then.
Is this NZ or what? Early spring, lambs lambing...

(I live over the road from a 600 acre sheep farm, and just 5 minutes from North Shore airfield.
Have your cake + eat it ;) )

Great idea Robin, showing the diversity of NZ via each persons location, very clever :D

Here is what my view looks like out the front windows straight up the Tamaki Estuary towards Rangitoto. (We always see Great Barrier Islands flying above here)

And a view from the upstairs kitchen window, taken last summer, looking towards Musik Point and Motuihe Island:

Howdy,

Well, this is the view from our (kitchen) window:

However, by going out onto the deck you view Grey's Hill, to the left:

and, the Haywards to the right:

All taken mid June 2006.

Nice thread idea. :) I live on the shores of Lake Rotoiti, about 30km north north-east of Rotorua, we have a small beach and a jetty, our boat is round the corner in our neighbours boat shed ;) .

Below is the view from our deck, which is off our lounge/dining area.

And the low top-down view.

And finally the high top-down view, with Rotorua in the bottom left corner, and the airport (NZRO) in the centre of the image on the eastern shores of Lake Rotorua.

Thanks for viewing.
