Zenith's right on the button there. DSE has the 19" CRT for $178 at the moment. I have had one of them for a year now and it's great.

i imagine it should be ok, you'll need to drop your geforce into it tho to use FSX

i suspect 1GHz will be the absolute minimum for FSX, so you're not going to enjoy it very much. perhaps you should hold off on FSX? you'll save $100 and you'll be able to run FS9 on a better machine :)

? Will it not work with the intergrated graphics?

I think ill still get it even if it runs like my fs9 does at the moment (realy bad lol)
im always prepared to pl some sliders back.
I think ill still get even its something ill se later but i just want to have it there to see what microsoft has done this time (not just read reviews  )

it will work, it will just work better if you were able to put it in. you'll free up system memory and generally dedicated graphics is more powerful than integrated graphics
up to you, i know how tough it is being on a limited budget :(

sadly there's next to no market for computer parts that old

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Computers/Desk ... 759756.htm

this one is a similarly spec'ed machine with a monitor and its not selling at $230
so maybe $100 if you're lucky.

From that listing...

IBM PC - Powerful NetVista desktops provide the ideal mix of productivity, manageability and affordability.

I would say $150, perhaps $200 tops for that PC. For yours, without the monitor etc I would suggest $100 tops. In saying that you can often sell things for more than they are 'worth' on TradeMe. Give it a go with a low reserve and advertise it with a gallery listing etc...

Hey Jimmy.

I am getting a new GFX card this week and will be taking out my current nVidia GeForce FX600 (AGP 256mb) which I could sell to you for a cheap price if you want ;)
