Yea so quite it was on the TV news when this was all happening

Well I decided from that point that in 12 months I had 3 outages from xtra only one of them was due to a large problem locally! So they will be getting the flick from me to a competitor.

What hacks me off is this looks like a case of if you dont apply you dont get! Not a automatic refund in your next bill

Me feels the urge to send this link to Campbell Live and rattle a cage at Telecom (123)

I had a email yesterday from Telecom offering this refund and providing this link! I agree it should have been automatic.

I have obviously pre-empted them, no e-mail as yet. Maybe their spam filter got it?

No email here! Still think the offer of just 4 days compensation does not go far enough to address the suffering of many business that foolishly rely on the internet especially Telecom servers.

When lightning took out our local phone network we got one months free line rental and all calls diverted to our mobile (lucky we had coverage) and covered all costs relating to the phoneline out of use! They even paid for One months Internet access from the provider I had :D

Well they did say 72hours and it ended up being 10days ROFL

Minor concern! The network collapsed under the strain even the 123 service! But then same thing happened when Sky lost the satellite ;) Same unable to get thru service.

As you editted the rest of the sentance! The lose to you and me is small in comparison to a business loses.
