We are having some trouble with Heath Well's Christchurch Airport link.

Try clicking here to download it: http://www.nzscenery.com/files/fs2004-f ... nstall.exe

But if that does not work, please contact Heath here: heath@nzscenery.com

SDNZ (Scenery Design New Zealand), a branch of ARNZ (Aircraft Repaints New Zealand) run by Peter Lohr:

Downloads include Queenstown and Mount Cook airports, and perhaps a Milford Sound addon in the future :D

I wouldn't recommend any of these, they aren't too flash.

Hi monkeybdg.
Your'e right, they arent too flash at all. Dunno where he gets some of his info from. I modified a few of the AFCADS myself, to make them a bit more accurate, and only kept a couple which i added a few Runway-12objects and buildings to, and ditched the rest. You never know till you try it.

Hi Guys,
I am working on a good afcad for Picton at the mo,have done the flatten/exclude files and that part of it works well but I am now concentrating on a suitable app for it so that it works better for AI.
Nunner
Ps There are some terrible afcads around so alsways back up if you have a good one before trying an unknown.

I'd agree with the Picton one, I,m using Dean Baunton's Marlborough scenery, which has Picton in it, as well as Omaka and Woodbourne. Had to make AFCADS for them, and flatten and exclude switches, as they were designed for FS-2000.
The other bad one on that site is Tauranga,................. what a joke ! I live in Tauranga , (needless to say i am using Robin Corn's RealNZ Tauranga) !!

Hi Nunner.
Not actually sure, as i dont fly in and out of Picton much, but i think so. Have seen AI aircraft around it when ive been flying in and out of Woodbourne, or overflying on the way to Nelson. Will go and have a good look later today maybe, and let you know. Im sure Charl will have an AFCAD for Picton somewhere in his Great NZ Light AI project.

Thanks for posting the list Trolly, you've obviously gone to some effort.
Since I know you have only recently got the 20m&topo(like myself)is it fresh in your mind just what addons go with it without problems?

Good idea to list it all, pity we can't just add it all one by one,I dont want to have to do another complete reinstall of FS again in a hurry when something goes wrong.
2 wrongs don't make a right but 2 Wrights made an aeroplane!

As for my site ( www.skydivesingleton.net ) if u dont like the files, u dont have to use them. Most of those were the early day files. the newest ones are more accurate.

What about FSX guys.

Hallo, there are a lot of us nutters that are now right into FSX.

The new Marlborough for FSX has an excellent Picton with some minor problems with trees at the end of the runway. Is there some easy depilatory to get rid of these from scenery?

But how about a list of scenery that is designed for FSX or is compatible with it.

Yip definitely Craig, I now use some of your files, I didn't appreciate what they were then and expected fully-fledged sceneries, not afcads :)

Sorry, complete noob here...
So I have downloaded the Red Baron NZ Mesh... or was it the GeographX one... or are they the same? I think its working, apart from the Ashburton River sitting about 100m above the Plains!
So that gives me general New Zealand and then I just download the other areas I want (eg my nearest airports) and somehow replace those areas in Red Baron with the more detailed ones?
