Great shots of a classy livery.
I"ve always felt it would look better proportioned with a 2m fuselage plug fore and aft.

The A 380 always leaves me perplexed. Undoubtedly a brilliant design and engineering achievement, but also a grandiose commercial misplanning and misjudgement of the market.

I believe that was one of the proposals for the 380....a stretch. An amazing wing on that beast. It can get to altitude faster and higher than a 747 and land slower, despite being much heavier.
It was a brave concept and one that would ease slot restrictions at many airfields, however the support infrastructure and ground manoevring restrictions limited its appeal. It also needed a high load factor to make money.
Still one of the best aircraft to fly on. A great ride and roomy.

Agree with that sentiment.

Well, things change.
I believe there's talk of restarting the A380 line, Emirates would go for a 380Neo.

That may well be the case. We will see whether Airbus gets involved. But there would have to be other interested parties for it to be worth considering.
