Been travelling a little lately, and had the opportunity to do the Real Thing.
It's been listing in the bucket since FS2004: ACOF days, when I could fly the Porter straight down the mountain in Beta, and 3-point on the Tasman Glacier.
Couldn't find the identical repaint, but I will no doubt attempt some Real vs Sim nonetheless, when I've culled the GB of photos!

Thanks chaps, I was keen to see what the sim would do, and so far it's not too bad!
Perk of the flight: I mentioned to the pilot that I had flightsimmed this dozens of times, so he sat me up front and we talked it all through!
The Porter is one hell of a plane.

Dean we cross-posted - would be great to have that one painted up as current MCT!
It's the stock Asobo/MS model.

Sweet, I'll grab the porter and have a crack, haven't done any MSFS paints yet but how hard can it be ?!?!?

Me mate does sky-dive drops in a PAX750 for the same company, they have 3 Porters by the sounds, he thinks MCT is being re-built at prez, but they also operate MCK (in a fetching Yellow and Red ) and XIT (classy-blue :plane: ) ?

Erps, Senior Moment there  .
The photo above is MCN and that's what I'm after.
I suspect it may be in the middle of a repaint itself, as the livery does look a little unfinished!

The man's a Machine
Not sure I want to spring for a payware that's only slightly better than stock!
I suspect the flight model could be improved though so maybe some more research required.

Thanks g, the snow landing blew my socks off.
Tasman Glacier is quite steep and it whites out completely before touchdown so you have no reference at all.
My mind was going Erebus Erebus in Neon flashing lights but the landing was so soft - 30cm of powder.
A kick of left rudder parked us at 90 deg to the slope and quite stable for takeoff.
I'll not forget this one easily.

Thanks JK that would be for the stock Asobo model.
Dean does your mate know if this is a WIP?
It does look like the previous paint jobs, but incomplete.
