Many thanks guys.
I really enjoyed this contest, not least because of the massive scare Deane's excellent composition gave us all! :D
Just for interest, here's the shot it was based on.
It is a composite of the Captain Sim Herk tailgate, and some Orion shots I had from earlier, taken off Hokitika.
The model is that brilliant one from
Team FS KBT

I have to say your shot is definitely a winner though !!! Excellent composition representing two military aircraft. To my knowledge there has never been a real life shot of a NZ Orion from the ramp of a Herc, but pleny of Herc behind Herc shots ( I have even been in the cockpit of the trailing Hec whilst doing this).

As for my shot - it had the desired effect i guess - nothing flash - but very contoversial. But like the others - I am glad we don't have to look at Aunty H for the entire month of Feb !!

Congrats Charl - well deserved.
