With the release of the 3 livery set 'posky_b744_corsairfly_f-gtui.zip' on avsim yesterday...
This shot took me a good five minutes to set up, and now I look at the comparison, I realise the angle is far from perfect, plus the windsock isn't flying- oh well, was a good bit of Wednesday evening fun all the same ;)

Andrew ... :D .. hecks ! would 'not' love to live on this Beach! maybe a 'job' to explain aircraft types or best spot for a thrill

Not quite the same terrain , The actual photo is over South Canterbury looking back on Banks Peninsular and the plain,s

The Spitfire difference between a Mk16 and the MK9 is the gun arrangement and engine manufacture , 16 being the Packard Merlin

and of course the need to change the paint scheme :)

That Conroy fella again...
Gavin I assume you're OK with me re-using the image on the forum...?
Drove me to dig out the ALPHA Harvard and transplant the SAAF paint onto my FS9 model.
As Jenks pointed out originally, ALPHA made the wing a little thick..still one of my favourite flyers though.

Edit: Forgot to turn the pilot's head...all my other shots did...Aargh

I was going to post this as a new message when suddenly I remembered we have a thread for it. FS9 with a nice tight mesh but otherwise default. Plane is the MAAM dc3.

Cheers
Gary

Well now, that certainly is a different take on the theme!
I know the bottom one is not real, because it says"G**gle" in the bottom RH corner!
And the top one looks very much like Flight Simulator!
So I went and looked on GE, and found mine did not have a Dak in it.
So you must have the Real Version!

You just kindly ask the people to step in the screen unsure.gif ...... Nah nah , just being a smart ass laugh.gif you simply need a photo edit program (photoshop example) zoom in , cut around the required detail copy , paste , scaling will be certain to get it right and Whola ! thats it

Thread revive!
Amongst the many GB of data I gathered for the VLC project, I also took a few snaps from various trips within NZ- These were a good way to ensure that the various rules/algorithms I had written to 'colour' the FSX world actually looked like what was there in real life (especially for parts of the country that I'm not as familiar with)

So here is a couple of shots near Timaru- One from the plane, one in sim using VLC

Now that's the sort of thing that needs to be shown in a VLC movie... wipe from one to the other to show it's realism smile.gifsmile.gif
