Well be having another practise session this week, most likely Thursday night. I think we proved one thing last night and that this airshow is going to be great. But what will make it special is everyone doing what they have agreed to do, and sticking to the programe and routines.

Lets also not underestimate the work required in each routine to make it dynamic and interesting. As I found out last night trying out some 3 ship flybuys in the DAK with two Harvards, formation flying isn't easy, it requires skill and very good communication between the pilots to bring everything together in the few seconds you pass the crowd line. It has certainly given me a better appreciation for the real world pilots who do this stuff.

We also discovered the first performance hits having so many non FSX default aircraft on site, so it will be very important people change into the spectator model as soon as their routine is complete and they have parked up. As Brennan's shots show, as a spectator you will get up close with these aircraft in ways you couldn't normally in FSX (and chat up the chick at the concessions stand)

It was a great night, hopefully we will see more people next time as we continue the countdown to Forum Field 2007.

They must have very hard ground because an a321 can stay up like that.
