If I was a rich man, I would get a plane as super shiny as this plane!! The rule said 1280x and this is 1280X yet my screenshot is bigger than the post???

Superb shot!!! Talk about spit 'n' polish!!! This pic would look good at any size!

The 1280px rule is so all the pics are the same size for voting purposes (a level playing field). The idea is to keep your HD version handy in case you win - and it's much better to scale down to banner size from a lartger/better original.

Nemo,

How did you manage to start TEN engines if programming codes of FSX or P3D limit the cockpit gauges to 4 engines? The programming codes of FSX and P3D do not permit engine readings of more than 4 engines.

Great pic of an amazing aircraft! Congrats also for getting an old[er] aircraft working in P3D *and* using Doug's/Ian's scenery! BUT ... "... Your Lotto win only covers you for a PPL (twin-engine rating) ..." ... so votes on this aircraft for the *theme* poll may be a little compromised!!

My original idea in restricting it to twin rating was to make it more of a "boys' toy" sort of a thing ... and another theme "if money/exprerience was totally unlimited" might be possible at some later date.

Phil - I just noticed the size of your pic!

Any chance of a re-up with a 1280px version?

I used the phrase Six Turning, Four Burning, as during the time that's one of the things it was nicknamed, I'm aware about the programming code not permitting readings of over 4 engines.
In the sim though it only has four prop's powering it as far as I can tell, as in all honesty its a pain to fly/climb.

Ooops, I was half asleep when I posted this last night and I have a few idea's on which to fall back on to tonight when I finish work, depending if the aircraft are compatible or not.
Surprisingly though the B-36 for an older aircraft works pretty well in the sim, although its quite a pain to climb after take off.

Don't throw that pic away - you never know - the "unlimited wealth" theme may come up! Or we could have a "Giants of the sky" type of theme ...

Great to see you got it working in P3D.

Its a great airplane, especially as 15 miles off the coast of Dunedin i have HMS Victorious, and a little further north and about 25 miles off Tairoa Heads i have Ark Royal.
I haven't actually released the paint yet, i was looking at it thinking i might tidy it up a little before releasing it.

Don't forget to announce it here on NZFF as and when your livery gets released!
