When I was growing up, .. hang on still havn't when I was a kid .. WHOOPS! .. when I was 8 or 9 there was a Tiger Moth Moth trying to go forwards and get to NZCH from Wigram from the looks in a good Northwester, it was going nowhere It was stopped Years later I met the pilot, he owned the local/ corner bookshop when doing gliding lessons, he told me it was a bit of dare with some of his gliding friends , return ed back to Wiggy from what I remember , back in the day when gliding was a weekend airfield , the good old days.
