ow I see i'v stirred up a wee discusion :P Jolly good :D

Dont forget that fixed wing aircraft run out of puff at high altitudes aswell Zöltuger

Just wondering what kind of helis can operate at FL410 and even above :D

aww you poor deluded choper people, youl never turn this 767 pilot around. Although im happy to take the odd flight in the helicopter, it then becomes even easier to apreciate the much more sensible form of air transport :plane:

just wait till I get my first solo I will be loading my little R22 up with plenty of eggs and flour bombs hahahaha.

well we can just get in a 172 or similer and have the protection of that nice big stationary wing. B) hehe

i think if we're honest, we would know that the only reason i dislike helicopters is because i'm not talented enough to fly them. i can barely fly the ones in FSX, which have been made easier to fly. i'd take 3 or 4 stabs at a landing, whereas i'd virtually always get a fixed wing down first time.

Yes take a careful look at heli videos and you'll notice very few spot views of landings ;)

Hmmmm I will remember all you beater bashers when you call me to rescue you from a sinking boat or car accident

I think that the Lama can operate up around 30000ft or something and I think the Allouette III (Spelling <_< ) can aswell.

Good call squirrel350 :D

See its good that we can have a good ol' dig at each others chosen aircraft preference in FS lol.

Helis still rule though hahaha.
