There were a few Australian Twin Pioneers, but none made it to NZ as far as I know?

A grand old aircraft!

My sort of flying, with a short take-off and landing (STOL) characteristics...>>>

Happy amongst the Scottish Highlands!

That's correct no Twin Pins operated in New Zealand.
Great shots of the type .

Can't help but think the Chief Designer at Scottish Aviation had a slide rule with a scaling error.
The Bulldog also had a giant lump of an empennage.
They say: If it don't look right, it ain't right.
The Twin Pin could easily lose a tailfin and still look tail heavy.
