A-380

Postby Splitpin » Sun Jul 06, 2025 4:58 pm

This the FBW model, about 5 years in the making and freeware. Lots of good quality repaints at Flightsim.to , also free. Adam of course being one of those clever and generous re-painters.
There is a pay ware 380 on the market, I haven't checked it out, but I'm sure it wont be up to this standard. When I buy stuff from the MSFS market I tend to go by star ratings, and really only look at 3+ offerings ...anyway I've been busy with the big bird today.

A nice one to compliment Adams Pacific Wave paint, ZK-NZB

And some of the others...

I found one of the aircraft Jono photographed last week here in NZCH (check out the photo thread here on the forum)

Great shots Marty - that first BA one should be playing the attack theme from 'Jaws'

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

Nicely screened, Marty.
I confess to leaning conservative in liveries, and that SAL is so trim and chic...
I also have become attached to all things Airbus: the A380 remains the most cosseting passenger experience.
Recently spent many hours in the A350 and that is now the state of the art, beyond question.

Great clip, Dash.
Has to be a giant aircraft when instead of "100" you hear "Retard"!
