On the ground at NZMC. My sim had crashed, so everyone else was nearly at Outpost1 by now.

Airborne, I had to circle the airport a few times to gain enough altitude

Still only just managing to make it over the ridge

First scenery problem at NZO1, pretty self-expanitary, but the airstrip was on a hill of water about 500ft above the valley

Airborne again, cloud was quite a problem, reducing visibility to 0 sometimes!

Taxiing to the ramp at NZO2, everyone else appeared a few feet above me

Flying through a valley towards NZO3

Continuing through the same valley

NZO3, this was probably my favourite of them all Bandit and Eagle1 parked on the ramp, Creator2003 following behind

Still at NZO3

Three Cessnas parked up

Airborne again, this time for NZO4

Creator2003 getting hopelessly lost trying to find NZO4

Parked on the ramp, it was a really steep descent into this one!

Cloud blocking the way we are going to be heading next to NZRS

Airborne again, for the short flight to the Research Station. Almost clipped the wheels going over this ridge!

Getting dark as I join the pattern to land

Cockpit view, not very clear, but Jimmy is on final in the C130 (though it shows as C172 on mine, as I don't have it installed), and the other guys already parked up

Shot of all participants left- -> right Jimmy (by this time in the 763), Creator2003, Bandit, myself, and Eagle1

Neat stuff, looks like you got the short end of the stick there though, with the other guys in helicopters... :ph43r:

lagging mite be due to frames locked at other numbers than us there kevin, they are best set at 20-25 flp or its just the case of bad net problems ,but thats the norm in this country
anyway heres my shots as we done the mission and then flew chippa choppers to queenstown 97nm  and then ofcourse malbrouogh district later on till past midnight ..

Thanks Guys. Glad you enjoyed it. Welcome to NZFF Kev.

Outpost 3 is my favourite as well, followed by Opst4. I tried to make a mix to suit most tastes. But now I know what appeals I can do other similar ones.

Looks like my flattens at each location worked. But not sure about Matts Opst 1 problem, the fltn has worked. I wonder if it is a topography issue with the default topo not showing the river in the correct location?

If anyone has any ideas I'd be glad to hear them in case it's something I can do to fix for future Mission builds.

I'm out for next Friday but am thinking of somehow incorporating a bushfire or fire on an ocean vessel scenario into a Friday night session somehow.

I can do another like this one with more O3 and O4 type strips. Just post your thoughts/ideas. I'm sure we can come up with something. Thanks to Craig also for again hosting the Mission file.
