Very slowly - about 65 - 75 knots. Easier to format with compared to WW11 aircraft - had hard time trying to keep up with the Bristol in the Pfalz as it outran and out climbed it - different story in the Fokker (which was arguably the finest single seat fighter in WW1 - the Bristol was probably the best two seat fighter)

Um...can neither confirm nor deny... Let's just say the chances are high. Til then, get Frank Elton's Tripehound from FlightSim.com. He's also done a Dr.I and D.VIII, as well as a Pfalz Dr.I, and some nice pre-war British bipes (Gloster and Fairey abound!). And a Brisfit - way cool! Looks like it may be the same one as in your shots? The Shuttleworth machine, anyway.

Mmm....looking forward to the Pfalz at Omaka! Woo!

Camel04.zip at FlightSim...looks quite nice! I saw Gavin Conroy over at Dave Homewood's site had a rather nice Se.5a, I'll ask at work tomorrow where it came from. Some nice Nieuport 17s at FS.com, as well as an N.11 in similar scheme to ZK-NIE.

And I echo the above comments - more WW1 shots! Woo! We don't have anything here flying ATM from that era, we have to wait for Christmas Wings! Til then we have to make do with the Andrews, Tiger, Champ, Cubs, Chipmunk...

I have the Brisfit by Aeroplane Art - it is very nice and freeware.
Tripehound? - i'll check it out along with the Camel. Yep saw Gavin's SE-5A - let me know what its like and where to get it!

My Omaka should arrive tomorrow (touch wood) so I should have some shots by the end of the week.

There is certainly some nice a/c at Omaka apart from the WW1 a/c. I also have a nice Aeronca from the same guys that made the Christen Eagle (Long Island Classics) and of course Rick Piper's Chippy. No Andrews A-1 - doubt there will ever be a FS model of that.

If you're into this sort of stuff then I reccomend you pay a visit to your local video shop and hire out the dvd Flyboys in the new release section. Some awesome dogfights there.

FLYBOYS! Just watched that again on Saturday night - brilliant! First time I've noticed that Fokker produced all Dr.Is in red, quite nice work from the researchers there. It was funny, when I saw it for the first time - here in Blenheim, on Good Froday this year - who should sit behind me but Jerry Chisum and Paul Hughan, two real-life Triplane pilots! Woo!

My Omaka - Marlborough, I mean - arrived yesterday! But in Wanganui. Dammit!

I'll talk to Gav about the Se.5a tomorrow - slipped my mind today, was kinda chilly! That Champ by LIC is fantastic! Graham Orphan was quite surprised to hear a version existed for FS! I love flying that, its a real honey. Regards the Andrews, perhaps Deane could be persuaded? Yeah, there are some real sweet aircraft here - it'd be cool to see Pat's Lockheed 12 for FS!
