YSSY to NZAA

Post and comment on screen captures from the beautiful game here. Home of the monthly screenshot competition

I recently flew a "Trans-Tasman" flight from Auckland (NZAA), to Brisbane (YBBN) across the Tasman Sea.

Today I did it the other way around, going from Sydney (YSSY) to Auckland, flying the opposite way to the direction the globe was spinning, and arriving just 1 hour later (local time), even though the flight was two and a half hours long.

The aircraft I used was the POSKY Boeing 767-300ER in the beautiful colours of Australian Airlines, a subsidy of Qantas, who have been flying the QF767 routes to Auckland this week.

Was that the godzone Auckland scenery? And how far south does it stretch.

You know me I just love restarting old topics.

Yep it is REAL NZ (originally called Godzone) scenery. It stretches from Whangaparaoa Peninsula in the north, to Pukekohe in the south.
