I've spent so much time painting AI recently I thought it was time to try my hand at flying again - with something that has a bit more get-up-and-go than the old Cessnas.

I've also just installed the 20m mesh so a night spent flying fast down the valleys was in order - great fun :D

Sorry guys, there aren't any good Strikemasters that I know of. And I'm guessing the one you found is probably the old FS98 one? Rick Piper has a really nice one almost done, but until it is finished I am using his Jet Provost and disguising it with a Strikemaster paint ;)

His model is really nice to fly (JetProvostT5v2.0.zip) so give it a go.

If you're interested in my repaint then I'm happy to share. I only knocked it up roughly last night so that I would have something to fly, so there is a bit of tidying up to be done. The skinning wasn't really set up for camouflage (probably because there were never any Jet Provosts that wore camouflage) so it is quite tricky to identify how the pieces are split and getting the camo to match up.

Let me know if you want the paint and I will try and tidy it up as best I can. :D

In the meantime here is another view of my somewhat rough first draft.

Thanks Ian, but I have plenty of reference, photos and plans - its just the way the skinning is split that makes it difficult. I may have to deviate from the real life camo scheme to make it work on the model anyway.

Cheers
