A guy took this picture of one of our planes and sent it to us to use:

Well yesterday (after two days of no internet) I broke 1 mil DOP. I also have two bases with another F-27F comming in.
Watch out VincentAir as I now have a base in Denver and will be expanding my airline with a purchase of a 737-200 asap.

I nearly 20 aircraft, half of which I lease out.
If you need to lease an aircraf just ask me and I'll see what I can do.

Sorry for asking this, but what does 'DOP' actually stand for?

I've never come across this acronym before..

Daily Operating Profit. Believe it or not, your DOP in Airline Mogul is not actually how much you earn per day- it is simply your ticket revenue per game day (real world hour). To get your real DOP you need to subtract Gate, Lease Maintenance and other costs from that figure. Eg my MOP (Monthly Operating Profit) is €31,164,563- Total revenue is €40,011,888, but I have €8,847,325 in Fuel, Staff, Gate Rental, Maintenance and misc costs.

I've entered the fray. My airline is called Jet X. I am bit late though and have to wait a while for to get into a 737! Only have 1 Beech 99 so far. Didnt help by making some errors that has set me back - leased an aircaft I didnt need and bought two gates that didnt need/want!

Another big whoopsie is that I wanted to be based at Portland Oregon but ended up in Portland Maine  - but I think that has worked in my favour as there is less competition here, theres some big cities/airports nearby and the Portland Jetport in Maine is of a resonable size and nobody else is based there.

I did the same at Chicago Midway. Ok so it was an accident, but has worked out well as i copied Europacific Air (largest in the game) on all his routes as he started at Chicago O'hare.

I have now ordered my first B737-200.

DOP: €1,617,415
Airline Cash: €2,894,964
Airline Value: €110,982,787

Average Loadfactor: 100.00%
Date: 18 Dec 1970

Aircraft Summary:
Argosy 650 Srs 200 1
Beech B99 5
Boeing 737-200 1
DHC-6-100 1
Fairchild Hiller F-27M 2

1 Fairchild Hiller FH-227B
1 Fokker F27-100
2 Fokker F27-400
1 HS-748 Srs 2A
1 IAI Westwind 1123
1 SE 210 Caravelle Super 10B

And 1 B737-200 in order.

I've got a new plan, from my alliance partner (in the top 20 overall airlines).

Fleet will be:
B99
HS748E
Caravelle Super 10B
Probably 747-200

Since my 737-200 has gone into service:
DOP: €2,718,746
Airline Cash: €220,639
Airline Value: €139,067,434

Average Loadfactor: 100.00%

Might save up for a while to buy a Caravelle so my value should increase a lot.

Grabed my B737-200 now.

Entered service with a plane DOP on more the 500.000 :D

My datas:

DOP: €2,957,225
Airline Cash: €11,476,187
Airline Value: €225,835,601

Build a base in Budapest and then a Terminal.

Next project is to build terminal in Frankfurt (no. 3 base).

Then buy some more B737-200's and get some better DOP.

Has also sold my Beech and bought a Fokker 27-100 for my Budapest base (actually the 3 most earning plane I have after the B737-200 and the Caravelle).

Ive had to reset my airline as I made some BIG mistakes and my most profitable routes were killed by competition - now based in Juneau Alaska - no competition here. Going quite well considering .

Hey Kelburn - Ive leased a Islander off you - thanks for that!
