Righto, I went flying today. I arrived at 10 and did some tidying up around the club (orders from the Boss man  ), and we were away to Motueka by about 11. The plan was to head over to Motueka Aero Club for BBQ lunch, then cut some streamers with the wings of a 152 Aerobat, JZT:

I got a ride over to Motueka with a few other members in ETU, the club's better 172:

One of the Tecnams came over later:

Sitting in the back seat, I took these pics. It's a 15-20 min ride to Motueka.

Once there we had a look through a few aeroplanes, then had lunch. A lot of hanging around talking followed while everone waited for their turn in the Aerobat. For my turn we brought 2 toilet rolls up to chuck out the window. We lost sight of the first one , and the 2nd one (which we unrolled quite a bit) sort of exploded into a big puff of loo paper, though we did see the remaining bit of roll just out of reach :( Ah well. The Aerobat was REALLY good to fly BTW ;)

On the way back we checked out some of the Abel Tasman National park:

Arriving, I took these:

And I do apologise for the poor quality, snapping through a windscreen doesn't bring out the best in photos
B-)

Nice shots Brock, looked like a fun day :)

What's happening with those Origin Pacific Jetstreams now that they're not flying any more? Are they going to be sold or just left there to rust?

They've been sitting for a few months now, I don't know if there's any deals going on or not.
