Now this one is long overdue and looks to be a goodie , built and created by Just Flights in-house design team cool.gif http://www.justflight.com/product/dc-8-download

Since Just Flights Tristar they have really lifted the game and so this would a must , guessing would come out with all the series and models course Air New Zealand /TEAL .

Now that IS overdue! It's a bit outside of my interest zone, but I could be persuaded with the later-model cargo variants, which are still flying around today!

I was think off the early Sanitarium Weetbix aeroplane cards for one , one in particular the DC-8 crossing the Southern Alps dating back to around 1966/7 and even then in the pack of your Brecky serial come a little well sculptured metallic grey DC-8 .. in my first years of school all i wanted to play with ... no smoke but sure as hell come out with noise smile.gif

Awesome! I've been looking for a good DC-8 for ages now, I used to enjoy flying the HJG ones in FS9 but it's definitely time for a new model.

Andy , think it will look great screened in the early Air New Zealand scheme to its opposite number the QANTAS CS707 , I recall when i was only 8/9 years old we had a border staying with us and he loved going out to the airport himself , a typical cold winters day when i watched a very smokey DC-8 fly out of Christchurch - just one memories that stuck in my brain case .

Thanks for the heads up on this one. This will complete my Douglas aircraft collection and my Air NZ and JAL collections as well. Look forward to it becoming available. It will have to be pretty good to come up to Capt Sim stuff, but hey there all Boeing over there.

Boeing Douglas Lockheed , some reason I'm very pro American , think its the culture , nah same as OZ and the NZ , the Nuclear Power , ... the DC-8 .. really was the last of the Douglas transports or any type of that company's design name .. it is a very pretty aircraft .

Naaaah ... easy peasy biggrin.gif , come on .. you off all people JK winkyy.gif ... The Viscount was a little testing , moved onto the DC-6 and they changed a little , the tail stalled me for a while - come to think i'd better get that T.E.A.L paint polish it and plop it out there and my 'City of Christchurch' US Navy VX-6 Six , Just-Flight have changed the mapping and found it so much easier.
