I downloaded a FS2004 version (which seems to be the only one around) but the panels don't work.
Greetings. I take it you've found the repaint of the Waikato Aero club's ZK-WKF and the photorealistic panel. Coincidentally they're both by MeI knocked them up for a cobber who's flying out there too.
Sorry but I cant help you with the FSX conversion of the panel as I've only got FS2004. It's most probably one or more of the gauges I've used on the panel. You may be able to edit the panel config to use gauges from other aircraft (ideally standard FSX ones). If you do sort it out let me know coz it would be great to push an updated panel to AVSim.Last edited by deeknow on Wed Feb 04, 2009 8:41 pm, edited 1 time in total.Deans repaints: http://www.deeknow.com/

When I first load up the Robin, there is still nothing there - but if I go Views > Instrument Panel > Main - it comes up. However, if I want to look around the cockpit using the hat switch on my stick - the panel stays still but the outside moves around? It did this before when I didn't have any guages as well. **I think I realise now - that I have it in VC which you said it doesn't have**
But even with2D if I look left, right, up, down etc - everything disappears inside the cockpit and it is just outside
Also no cockpit? ie window struts, seats, walls etc. I wish I knew more about FS!
What you have done is great for me to practise engine start ups etc - so thanks heaps!!
Now if there was only a way to get a perfect cockpit! My next few months of training would be much easier :-)
Hope you can find another version (fsx!!!) for the Robin - would make lives very much easier lol.
Let me know if you do.
Deeknow - yep download both of your repaints (panel and repaint).
Would love it if someone could whip one up with a CTC paint job! (Robin/Alpha)
I found one for a Katana.
In fact just to top it off a repaint for the Robin/Alpha and one for the DA42 Twinstar - all my Christmases would come at once!
Can't wait to buy your Hamilton X - Creator2003!
Would love to see screenshots of the CTC facilities and apron(s)! Have you got all of the markings and taxi centre lines for the CTC aprons?

Yeah, I think you'll find the Katana is also a repaint I did, ZK-SFG? Re the CTC Alpha, send me some pics and I'll paint it if you like
There is a Twinstar model about, a payware one from Abacus, apparently FSX compatible:

I'm using FSX and have been for a while.
I'm just starting my flying training at Hamilton (CTC)
My aircraft for training is a Robin HR200 / (NZ) Alpha 160
I would love to have this aircraft to practise with in FSX.
I downloaded a FS2004 version (which seems to be the only one around) but the panels don't work.
Reading through other forums this is a common problem and not really one that can be solved.
When I load the aircraft - it doesn't have any panel or gauges at all.
Was wondering if anyone knew of/could help me find an FSX version?
Am very happy to pay for it if it is good quality.
Or is there anyone here that can create one or is in the process of?
Are their quality aircraft designers that would be interested in making a RObin/ALpha 160?
Does anyone know of a software developer or aircraft designer that might be interested?
Would love it if someone was able to make an FSX version!!

In regards to a designer...
even if it was a company and you know someone who is good there to make the Alpha/Robin.
I get a little bit frustrated with the same a/c getting made time and time again while other new aircraft haven't been done at all.
That's just me though.
Definately keen to pay for a good working FSX a/c of the Alpha/Robin.
The FS9 version Robin Hr22 just doesn't cut the mustard in FSX I'm sorry. No VC is the main prob... + numerous others
Someone, somewhere know of anyone who might be interested?
I will be flying the a/c in a few weeks so can supply any pics, data, charts etc that might be needed.
Just need a willing soul to take it on...

Agreed. I fly at the aero club, i'm willing to go and take photos of the Alphas exterior and instrument panels for anyone that might be interested in making a model for FSX.Last edited by UnitedWeFall on Sat Apr 11, 2009 1:03 am, edited 1 time in total.

Fair enough.. no harm in asking though
