UNZIPPING FILES

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Hi people,

I regularly download new aircraft form Flightsim.com. They are normally just normal files (unzipped), but today i downloaded an ANZ ATR-72. When the new window came up after it had finished downloading the main flie was "zipped". In the readme it said that i need to unzip it?? How do i do that? Do i right-click on the file or anything?

Thanks

As far as I'm aware, Flightsim.com only have ZIP downloads. If you have had no trouble before, then you are probably just using Windows Explorer to open the zip files. It sounds like there might be a zip file zipped into the downloaded file though. Just open this by double-clicking on it.

Just extract the files from the zipped folder, by right clicking on it, and 'extract all.' The wizard should just do the rest for you, and then you will have a folder with the files in.

And I also thought that all files from Flightsim.com were zipped anyway...
