Reading or watching their expert opinions leaves me more confused most of the time.

I can only presume that there's no EDITOR in-residence at the Herald (either that, or it's just "the ghost in the machine") - as I see mis-spelling, appalling grammar or sloppy/inaccurate writing almost on a daily basis.
It's not that I'm just being anal - decent journalism is *THE* safeguard for democracy. Let that slip, and you have politicians doing what they want - regardless of pre-election promises/manifesto etc. Errrrm ... oops they already do
And don't even mention TV "News"![]()

Ok, i wont mention the TV news .......BUT.....no....i wont mention itWe are all subject to the whims of editors....very powerful people.
I had to laugh the other day, when Paul Henry opened his show with the words...Oh, in case you havent heard, Whitney Houston died....anyway, lets get on with the show.......and he was right. She had a great voice....but , you live the life...you die the death, hardly front page news for 4 days.Last edited by Splitpin on Sun Feb 19, 2012 1:17 pm, edited 1 time in total.
