It is very impressive , like getting a new scenery .. in the years to come people forget the WOWs .. good example is the years following FlightSim , competition these days appear to the kids chasing each other with hardware that after all they have spent FSX still don,t appear to have any change ... its all in the program .

Certainly going to be worth taking a look at this. I hope that my current aircraft will be able to be used in it...

It does look good, but nothing that can't be achieved with Carenado, REX and a decent piece of scenery. biggrin.gif

Lets do a comparison of our own.

New Zealand, FSX.

New Zealand, Microsoft Flight.

Oh, hang on, it appears they've only given us scenery for Hawaii. angry.gif thumbs up microsoft. clapping.gif

All in light hearted humor. winkyy.gif Not wanting to offend anyone. I really do hope they produce a decent product.

There will be many unhappy souls if they don't. In fact, most of the flightsim community will be unhappy if they do muck it up. With the possible exception to Austin Meyer's (X-plane creator). laugh.gif

Shall be interesting to see what comes to light as the Non-Disclosure Agreements come to an end in the New Year. smile.gif

After what MS did to the ACES Team after FSX SP2, I can see the same thing happening with Flight. I'm sorry Mr Gates and MS - but you lost my loyalty after that. Loyalty is a two way thing and MS didn't keep their end of the bargain in my opinion, pulling support for their product after a little over a year and a half after release.

Also after the CS sale I'm now at 197 payware add-ons - I've too much invested in FSX in software, and that doesn't count the freeware stuff that numberous hours have been spent on trying to get everything working togeather. The Hardware has caught up finally.

Therefore I'm going to be like some of FS9 types now using the old system for quite a while yet....
Takeoff's are optional. Landings are mandatory.

All talk this about 'FLIGHT' ... I think FSX is to be a little like the Falcon4 program , you look at what it has to offer .. i would be hard to get it better and when it dose ... it wont be FLIGHT .. least yet in its current state.
