is there a payware recorder module? that will record helicopters as ai traffic
anyone know of some payware record module that i can look into ?
at the moment i have fraps /freeware recorder module/walk&follow etc..
just need something to record heli formation etc.. and just cant find one ,there is a way doing multi/player one two puters and playing back a reply from one and flying and recording from the other but it doesnt come out that good at all
so any ideas any hints to a payware recorder ?

Interesting...never tried a helo recording.
No payware recorders to my knowledge.
Here's a thought: what about using an AI helo in the first place?
They are modelled on gliders generally so won't hover, but they might do the video job for you.

ai trffic sounds like the go ,is there a ai traffic readme for dumbys guide to setting up traffic anywhere including sdks? well i think i have them somewhere anyway

Have you seen FS Recorder? This is a freeware/donationware module that would allow you to fly each helicopter, record the flight, then load that flight into FS2004 while you fly the second chopper etc etc while you video.

You can do this for as many aircraft as your system will allow, for as long as you want. Heres a link to the website that will give you more info:

FS RECORDER

This is what I was able to do in about 10 mins with this module:

All the aircraft are on screen at the same time, no cut and past photoshop magic involved. All these aircraft are full detail jobbies, no AI here. The 146's are my own models, the 733 is the FFX model, the Q400 is the dreamwings and the 195 is, um, I forgot the guy but its the only one around.

This might help solve your problem?

Thats what Mike's talking about Jon... he uses that (as do I) and it doesn't like helicopters.

I tried today at lunchtime, I can record the first flight fine but when I play it back as traffic with myself in another helicopter, it freezes up.
