GA AI for FSX

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Postby pilotgallagher01 » Sat Sep 12, 2009 7:49 pm

Hi guys,

I am in search for some NZ GA AI for FSX. I think there is a 2004 version that was made by someone on the forum here??
I use Traffic x for my airlines and commercial traffic but am wanting something that involves more AI aswell
Could someone help me out??

Thanks

Thanks Snowman, so the aircraft are good quality AI and run fine in FSX.
Also does this include static AI??

The freeware AI aircraft are fine in both FS9 and FSX. For FSX,......... DONT use any of the AFCADs provided by Charl in the package for FSX.
The AFCADS are FS9 ONLY. For FS9, ONLY use the AFCADs from the package if you DO NOT have a corresponding airport scenery installed for that particular airport.
ALWAYS use the AFCAD that comes with an airport scenery, and not someone elses.
The rest of the aircraft textures included in the pack are for the PAYWARE HTAI Cessna's ( very cheap to buy, and well worth it, and work in BOTH FS9 and FSX).
NO static aircraft of any kind in the package,............. All aircraft are genuine NZ residents, in genuine NZ paint schemes and rego's.

Cant understand what possible issues you could have running more than one set of AI.......................
I use GNZLAP for GA traffic in NZ, and also run my own custom AI in NZ, as well as VOZ-AI for some commercial traffic, and World of AI for most commercial traffic all over the world ( including NZ).
I also use Charl's "10 AI Squirrels" AI helo package in NZ as well as the "Flock of Fletchers" AI pack, and the RNZAF AI pack.
Dont have any problems................

I think that you can have problems mixing FS2004 and FSX flightplans. If you have both, only the FS2004 flightplans will work. Since Lawrie's list are all FS2004, he won't have a problem.

Yes Robin you are right, I still cant run GNZLAP redux and FTX AU AI at the same time. I think you have to convert the Flightplans from FS9 to FSX or vice versa.

Is this suitable for FSX or not??
It dosen't state it on your website?
If it is for FSX do you have to convert flight plans or something which I am still unsure about??

Thanks Laurie
