Well done Ian.
The Boeing "Model 717" as apposed to the "Boeing 717" was indeed the company name for what became the legendary C-135 family. The "Boeing 717" on the other hand was the company name for the old McDonnell Douglas DC9/MD80 family after the aquisition of McD.

Tag! You're it :)

In keeping with the NZ theme and given that ANZAC day has just past - Who was the first New Zealand Fighter ace ?? For a bonus point what was the ironic circumstance about his death ??

10 Helos have worn the HOT/Hotel Oscar Tango rego all of them Hughes 269's. The first registration was on the 5-8-1983 to the Alpine Fighter Collection.

The original HOT is now IDD owned by Deaker Cyril Richard P O Box 200 TE ANAU. It changed from HOT to IDD on the 15-08-2006

Weren't they all 369s (ie Hughes 500s) not 269s? HOT is owned by Alpine Heliocopters but more specifically Tim and then Toby Wallis?? The current HOT is a 500E.
