A bit like the legendary British Railways one "The train now arriving at platform 3 comes to us as a complete surprise"

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

Damn I never saw this post!

I put NZAA on the back burner as I saw that ORBX where starting back up their development of NZAA. Any news on this to date btw, was that Mike developing that? By the looks of it they were further along on their project than I was which is why I stopped because there was no way I could catch up and over take them unless I had a team working on it! It was anoying, as I had a lot of help from the likes of Cowpat that went out of his way to get photos and resources for me which were greatly appreciated and didn't want to let people down.

toprob wrote:Hey, anyone can take photos.... I've actually seen two different developer's screenshots of NZAA just recently, so I'm not too guilty that I gave up on it. However if someone came up with a few nice photos, I'd be happy to pass them on.

What were the other NZAA's you have seen Robin?

I do have the Ground Polygons almost complete which are pretty detail. With your buildings zk_ncf, I'm sure a few of us could band together and get out a NZAA and get it done finally. Be a shame for these developments to go to waste

There's a guy on FSDeveloper.com who is meant to be putting something together, I must admit I didn't take too much interest, as I first saw _ncf's work some time ago, and it was instantly the best-bet for me.

So you two, plus any help you can get, would be a killer combo for this, I've always thought so, I knew that at some stage you would come to the same conclusion:)

Happy to help, although my development schedule is kinda messed up at the moment.

Now here's the thing: there is a real need for an updated NZAA in FS9.
Do not scoff, it's still 30% of the FS market and like vinyl, there is a resurgence of interest.
There is surely a whole lot of spadework that goes into the scenery before the thing is compiled into Effeh Sex or whatever.

What would be the chances of making the gathered source material available to some aspirant FS9 designer?

Its a thing that was questioned 12 ta 14 years back simply only to get photo's but appeared know one had the insider to the airsider.

Pretty much an older blokes' game now... when last did you see a 13-year old on here??
And if an aspirator is what is needed... ya do what it takes :ph43r:
