Default aircraft faults..?

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Just wondering... I remember three aircraft on FSX having some faults when I last played four years ago, haven't checked if they still have them as of yet but was wondering if you guys found them as faults and if they have been fixed..?
First faulty aircraft..
The Beech King.. It has a very touchy throttle... 1% and it wont move but anymore than 3% and it will take off!!
737-800... A aircraft used on trans-tasman flights and beyond.. When I flew it from Auckland to Sydney/Brisbane vis versa, I would run out of fuel just as I made landfall.
A320... Feels real light and coming into land it feels like a glider in a updraft and it is a struggle to get it down..

Not sure if they were actual aircraft defaults or just the "default" default settings that they were on..

The defaults are at best the worse, its GREAT when peoples get the source files and modify they start to shine DC-3 is a good example ... there are many freewares that are so good that I would leave the defaults in the back paddock.

yes the fuel flow rate in the default 737-800 is very poor, you could try modifying the "FUEL FLOW SCALAR" setting in the aircraft config from "1" to something like "0.5" in order to help. Other than for FSX missions I've never really flown the default FSX jets because they are pretty poor and there are plenty of nicer looking freeware options. The props are nice enough though and I fly them quite often.
