I recall there was a talk about it pre during the VLC debut , i did'nt bother with it my self but if it works with Prepar3d could be a deal , obviously Orbx would be the better one , other being many years old .

I was fooled a bit by the way their slideshow works -- when you click on these particular thumbnails, first you get a real photo (labelled 'reality'), then FSG and default when you press next or use the right arrow. So if you only click on each thumbnail in that row, you'll only see real photos.

LOL I fell for it the first time I looked at the website, in all fairness tats a little dodgy if you ask me.... the same goes for those types that use real photos on the product box..

The main problem I have with these folk is that it is almost impossible to figure out the facts on their product pages. I bought an earlier mesh which included NZ, as the website promised 'better resolution than default' but it turned out to be another SRTM 75 metre mesh, albeit fixed in the obviously damaged parts.

Quick -- what resolution is this? There's lots of talk about LODs there, but what does that mean to the average customer? I get a bit jittery when the marketing-speak obfuscates the facts.

Yeah, as a developer I know exactly what mesh LODs mean, but as a consumer I think its best to talk about the pointy bits and how pointy they are (or weren't before) wub.gif

I agree with that, So much gobble dee gook. I just want to know what resolution it will be for New Zealand.
