Well, it's like this, once the project was completed, I was moved on. Everything is still working, as it was back then, so I hadn't come back to the forums. I was also working in a different area as well so I haven't been "tinkering" as such. We may be looking at moving on from XP to WIN 7 and play with some ATI 6970 cards but they are monsters. Not much emphasis is placed on the R&D due to people, time and money.

Has anything come out that is better than the Level D 767? The Captain Sim C-130 is not mod friendly nor does it represent our new C-130's or P-3. Since we teach Avionics, our exterior views aren't so important and I can't spend money without full justification as it isn't mine to spend, and there are cutbacks. I tend not to sim so much at home as nothing I could ever build comes close to what I have at work.

The C130 and P3 are still the same as you left , if anything for training the most up to-date and would possibly used as a training tool would be the PMDG 737 - the NGX , by compare to your old cockpit setups , the CS130 holds its own but is 1980s style , LD76 is going to cover any 75 training.
