Keep them flying

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

I received this as an email and thought it might be worth sharing...

The message below explains what it's all about. Some of the shots of the old Pilots are quite moving.

Subject: Keep them flying

Country music recording artist Dwayne O'Brien performed his song "We Remember" live at the ICAS Convention last week in Las Vegas, Nevada. And he produced this video to be projected on the screens behind him while he sang. We hope that you'll share this link widely with friends and family who appreciate America's aviation legacy and all that our country's airborne warriors have done to defend our country. And, of course, many thanks to Dwayne O'Brien for both performing his wonderful song and producing this moving video.

What a solemn moment that was, thanks for the link Bazza.
To look at what those men and woman went through and the price they paid just so later generations can take what they have for granted.
Regards always

I returned to that video , their was the very WWII footage of a 17 climbing out , the big thing other the people here on the forum most say Oh forget it , its in the past , strange thinking cos simply they dont no what they have because of it , other - news the other night , some priest back in the 1890s saves a 4 year old from drowning ... boy that was a mistake , child,s name was Adolf Hitler .
